How do I join?

We are now scheduling placement hearings for the 2026–2027 season.

Placement hearings are friendly and low-pressure and will be held on Monday evenings beginning April 20 through early May, with additional dates available in August. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 5:45–7:30 p.m. at Norman North High School from September through April.

Students do not need to prepare a piece in advance. However, it is helpful if your child knows the round: “Are you sleeping, Brother John?” We ask students to echo patterns, sing a round with us, echo some solfège patterns and answer a few questions. The placement hearing takes approximately 10 minutes. Sample tracks are available upon request. 

What is the time commitment?

OYSing! rehearses on Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Rehearsals begin the Monday after Labor Day and continue through the first week of April. We perform several times each semester. For more info, go to our current season.

How much does it cost?

OYSing! tuition is $325 per year plus the purchase of a uniform. Financial support is available based on need. No child is denied participation because of an inability to pay. Contact our director for more information.
